Castle Manor Academy went to the polls on Thursday as the whole school community voted in their new Head Boy and Girl.
Students had to apply, be endorsed by a member of staff and then be shortlisted. They then prepared campaign videos and visited each tutor group to campaign.
Vanessa Whitcombe, Headteacher, said ‘We are so proud of all of the candidates who stood for election. They have been professional and creative in their campaigns and were all very strong contenders’
The successful candidates Oliver Loveridge and Paris Wade will represent the school for formal occasions and will form their own student leadership team to lead the newly formed student parliament in September.
