At Castle Manor Academy, students can take music lessons on the following instruments: Piano, Cello, Double Bass, Violin, Viola, Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Clarinet, Flute, Saxophone, Oboe, Bassoon, Drum kit, Orchestral Percussion and Vocals. The lessons last 20 minutes with a specialist Instrumental Teacher during the school day. Students can also opt to complete instrumental exams through a range of exam boards if they wish.
The cost is £100 per term and instruments can also be loaned from Suffolk County Music Services (for a small fee). Support can be sought for payments, and we have several students successfully obtaining an HYAT (Haverhill Youth Activities Trust) Grant.
